We have a big circle of friends, mostly Farhan’s, and this year on our anniversary, we thought it’d be great to have a reunion with all of them. We planned to organize a poolside party at our bungalow. Many of Farhan’s friends were flying in, but Deepak, who’s some 10 years younger to us and knows Farhan through his old job in Bombay, had no family in Delhi and was going to be staying with us. When we were in Bombay, Deepak was immensely close to us and hence we all were excited that he’s coming to stay the weekend with us.
